Ideal Seam Guide

The Idea Quilt Guide from Sew Very Smooth is my new favorite quilting ruler. I use it when I quilt on my longarm as well as on my home machine. It's 8" long and 2" wide, with 1/4" marking etched around the perimeter. There are also 45˚ and 60˚ angles marked on the ends, and a 3/4" mark across the length of the ruler.

The Ideal Quilt Guide is very versitle, and features a tacky backing to help prevent shifting. I also like to use the ruler upside-down and hold the tacky park with my fingers to make position adjustments as I go on my longarm. It's a really fabulous tool.
