The Gardens - 2019 BOM Piecing Thread Set

The Gardens Thread Set is the perfect start to begin piecing your quilt. The thread set includes 8 spools of Soie Surfine thread, plus an option to include Invisible Sulky monofilament thread, which we will used for machine applique. 

Soie Surfine is fast becoming one of my favorite threads for piecing. Each 100m spool is made from silk filament, which makes this thread quite strong and it creates very little lint when sewing. Soie Surfine is a fine thread that's comparable to 80wt threads. This makes is ideal for foundation and paper piecing because it adds very little bulk to your seams; especially important for curved seams, intersecting seams, and designs with multiple points.
