If you have questions regarding products in my store, or any store policies, I hope that you'll find your answer here. Please contact me if you can't find your answer here.
Privacy Info:
Your privacy is extremely important to me. I will not share, rent, or sell your personal information to anyone outside of Purple Daisies, LLC. Any personally identifiable information shared by you (our customer) with me (Purple Daisies, LLC) will only be used to fulfill orders, contact you about your order if we need to, or send you emails if you give us permission to do so.
Payments:
I accept payments via major credit cards, PayPal, ApplePay, GooglePay, and checks. International checks (banks outside of the US) are not accepted.
Sales & Discounts:
Sale Item = an individual item is available at a temporary, reduced price (look for the pink Sale price/label)
Automatic Discount = available for a limited amount of time and automatically applies a discount to an item or order at checkout (no code required)
Discount Code = available for a limited amount of time and applies a discount to an item or order after it's redeemed by the customer at checkout.
No more than one discount ever applies to any single item (regular or sale price) in an order. If two discounts are applied to the cart, the best discount for your cart will be applied. For example, if there's an automatic discount for "15% off Patterns", but you have a discount code for 20% off your entire order, then the 20% off discount will be applied because it is a better deal for you. The cart will not apply 15% off Patterns plus an additional 20% off.
Discount codes cannot be applied to an order after it has been placed.
Preorder Policy:
Purple Daisies, LLC will make some upcoming fabric collections, pattern, and quilt kits available as a preorder. These will be available under the menu option: Shop Fabric >> Coming Soon-Preorder. When you place a preorder, you are reserving the item/items by paying at the time of purchase, before Purple Daisies, LLC receives this items in hand. All preorder items will be shipped immediately after they are received. I (Cristy Fincher) will keep you updated every step of the way, as I receive updates from distributors/manufacturers. The estimated date of arrival/shipping is clearly noted in the listing for each preorder item. There are occasions where a distributor/manufacturer experiences delays or mis-shipments. Please understand that these situations are outside of my control. If, for any reason there is an unexpected issue with your preorder (ie: delays, missing item, etc), I will contact you immediately to make you aware of the situation, and proceed to find a reasonable solution. Please know that all preorder sales are final.
Should your order include non-preorder items, your order can be shipped in separate shipments at an additional shipping cost. Separate shipments are available by request only. Costs for the additional shipment will be invoiced and paid separately.
User Accounts:
Q: Do I have to set up an account in your store?
A: To shop in my store, an account isn't required. If you place multiple orders, having an account will be very beneficial for you. Your account will maintain your billing/shipping address, as well as past orders. Your personal information is safe, and will never be shared. Rest assured, your credit card information isn't stored, beyond the transaction being processed.
Shipping:
Q: When can I expect my order to ship?
A: Orders ship within 3 business days of being placed, often even sooner. If there is an issue with your shipment, I will contact you via email.
Q: Who do you use as your shipping carrier?
A: All orders are shipped via USPS. Please be sure that your shipping addresses is USPS friendly.
Q: What are your shipping rates?
A: Shipping costs are based on real-time shipping rates, directly from USPS. Your shipping rate will be determined by the combined weight of the products in your order, and the shipping address. I do my very best to offer the most affordable shipping rates possible.
Q: Do you offer free shipping?
A: Yes. Orders $99+ (after any applied discounts or coupon codes) ship for free to addresses in the US only. If your order qualifies for free shipping, or if you apply a free shipping coupon code to your order, it will be shipped via the least expensive shipping option. This allows me to continue providing free shipping options.
NOTE: Pressing boards, Oliso Irons, and Pantographs are not eligible for free shippping
Q: USPS returned my package was returned my package to you, will you resend it to me?
A: Packages that are undeliverable and returned to me by the USPS can be reshipped. Additional shipping charges will be applied and an invoice will be sent to you for payment.
Q: Will my package be insured?
A: Insurance is available at an additional cost. If you would like your order to be insured, please contact me for a quote. I would be happy to send you an invoice for the upcharge and add insurance to your package.
Q: I live near you, can I pick up my order from you?
A: I don't offer a local pick up option, but you're welcome to contact me after you've placed your order and I'd be happy to make arrangements with you.
Returns:
Q: I'm not happy with what I ordered, can I return it?
A: I happily accept returns and issue refunds as long as the product is unused and unopened, or in the original packaging. I cannot accept returns for cut fabric, unless the item is a fabric bundle. Returns/Refunds are accepted for 30 days after purchase or confirmed delivery date. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer.
Q: Can I return fabric?
A: Unopened, unwashed, unaltered fabric bundles can be returned for a refund. If you'd like to return yardage that was cut to order, but is incorrect for your purpose, a 20% restocking fee will be charged. If there was a cutting error on my part, I will make it right at no extra cost to you.
Q: I opened the item, but I decided that it's not what I want. Can I return it?
A: In most cases, I can accept returns if an item has been opened. There are some exceptions, like if there are signs of use or if the original packaging has been damaged. Exceptions will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Returns are accepted for 30 days after purchase or confirmed delivery date.
Q: Can I return a downloadable item for a refund?
A: Unfortunately, I cannot accept "returns" of downloadable items nor issue a refund. The only exception is if you didn't download the item after purchasing. Returns are accepted for 30 days after purchase.

A: Yes, I wholesale all of Sharon Schamber's designs and products. Please visit our wholesale information page {here}.
Product FAQ's:
Q: The disc I purchased isn't "playing".
A: Please check to make sure the disc is a DVD, and not a CD. DVDs will play on any TV or computer DVD player. A CD is a pdf file, which can only be opened via your computer with a program like Adobe Reader. Click here for a free download of Adobe Reader.
Q: How do I use the freezer paper patterns that come with some CDs/DVDs?
A: The freezer paper patterns are meant to be used in several ways. You can use them with a light table to mark your practice piece or quilt top, or with any other marking technique you prefer. They can also be used as inspiration and/or as a guide as you quilt. Whether you mark with them or use them as reference, they are meant to support and help you with your quilting.
Q: The rubber on my Quilt Halo cracked, can I exchange it?
A: As long as it is a defect from manufacturing, we will exchange it. We have seen Quilt Halos where the crack is a direct result of use and occurs when the quilter bumps the Halo with the screw of the machine's foot. In these cases, we cannot accept a return. Please remember to pause your quilting when the Halo gets close to the foot, and move the Halo.
Q: How do I use Sharon's Applique Foundation?
A: Following Sharon's instructions in her Piece-by-Piece: Machine Applique book, or in one of her patterns will give you the best and most detailed instructions. For basic instructions see our Applique Info area.
Q: Can I use Sharon’s quilt designs on my own quilt or a customer’s quilt?
A: Yes, but... If you will be competing your quilt, in local and state competitions, please give credit to Sharon for the pattern and designs. As well, please give credit to Sharon for any designs used on a customer’s quilt. Sharon’s designs are copyrighted. If you, or your customer, intend to compete a quilt, that include any of Sharon's designs, in a regional, national or international quilt show, you must seek permission directly from Sharon Schamber.
Downloadables:
Q: How do I download the digitized pattern that I purchased?
A: Products with a digital download will be delivered automatically to you, via email. A link to your download will be included in your purchase receipt (look for a link that says "Download") as well as in your online account. If you cannot locate the link to download on your receipt, search your inbox for an email from SendOwl Downloads. This is the server that I use for my downloadable files.
