Hi Everyone!
The past couple of months have been full of highs and lows. As most of you know, my mom's best friend and soul partner, Tom Russell, passed away unexpectedly in January. I'm still at a loss for words to express how I feel about his passing, and how to express my love for him. My mom has good days and bad days. He was not only her best friend, but he was her business partner and manager. We're working hard to keep moving forward and appreicate all of the love and support from quilters everywhere. The Quilt Show put together a beautiful tribute to the friendship that Tom and my mom shared.
Just before Tom passed, I was doing a lot of secret sewing to prepare for filming my new Craftsy class on Paperless Paper Piecing. I was pretty quiet on my blog, podcast, and with my newsletters because my time because was consumed with designing, preparing, and sewing. Getting everything ready to film my class was such a whirlwind. It's going to launch in less than a week, and I'm so excited to share it with you.
The class is called: Pain-Free Foundation Piecing, and I think you're going to love it! In it, I focus on Paperless Paper Piecing, a technique invented by my mom, Sharon Schamber. In 2007, we wrote a book called, Piece-by-Piece: Machine Applique which introduced Paperless Paper Piecing (PPP) to the quilting world. Since then, my mom and I have taught the technique to quilters everywhere. There are many wonderful applications for PPP, and I'll show you several of them in my new class.
My class will launch in less than a week, so I'm having a giveaway to win a free class! You can enter to win my class for free, and on the day of the launch, the lucky winner will be one of the first to enjoy learning all about Paperless Paper Piecing. The giveaway will run through Sunday March 8th.
Without further ado, here are some peeks at a couple of the class projects:

Reinvented:
Stay tuned for more sneak peeks!!
Lots of love and Happy Quilting!

I have read tons of info/instruction on how to paper piece, yet I have not done any yet. Crazy stupid I know. I haven’t decided if I am necessarily afraid of it anymore given the reading and videos I’ve read. I think now it may be the fear that I’ll become addicted to it because I’m like that with new things.
I’ll be watching for your giveaway and your new class.
